SHC’s Therapy Clinic provides a wide range of physical, occupational and speech therapies. You will receive excellent care regardless of your age or condition, in both our Grangeville and Kooskia outpatient locations, and as an inpatient in the hospital.
Our skilled, licensed staff provides caring treatment whether we see you for just a few visits or for several months. Treatment plans are tailored to meet your specific needs and goals.
Our physical therapy team has excellent relationships with regional medical providers, including orthopedic surgeons, to help you achieve optimal recovery after surgery.
We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center to provide occupational therapy at Syringa in our Inpatient, Outpatient and Hospice Departments. While physical therapy is aimed to increase mobility and function from an impairment or disability, occupational therapy helps to restore independence for daily living such as dressing, brushing teeth, combing hair, and other purposeful activities.
Speech therapy is appropriate for any age group when speaking or communicating, reading, writing or swallowing present difficulties whether due to illness, injury or other medical condition, and is designed specifically for the individual in order to increase independence and meet patient and family needs.
Speech therapy services are provided to infants, toddlers and children experiencing delays in talking, play, interaction and feeding skills.

Our OT and PT team work closely with regional schools (Grangeville, Kamiah and Kooskia) to ensure the success of children with special needs. Our goals are to:
