SOLTMAN CENTER

Can I reserve the Soltman Center for an event? If so, how?
The Soltman Center is an education center that was built with the help of grant funds, to enrich our community. While donations are always welcome, the Soltman Center can be reserved at no charge for community related events or gatherings.

A few things to know:
• You may NOT charge an entrance fee or cover charge for your event.
• Personal events, such as birthday parties, baby showers, etc are not permitted.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my bill at Syringa Hospital & Clinics?
Questions about your bill or statements should be directed to our Patient Financial Services office, at 208-983-1700.

Who will mail my insurance claim? When?
We file your insurance claim. This means that we mail your bill and insurance forms to your insurance company. This is typically accomplished within 10 days of your visit or discharge. You should confirm that your insurance company gets the claim and pays their part of it, even though we make every effort to enable the insurance company to procees your claims in a timely and accurate manner. If you do not agree with how your insurance processed, then you are responsible for contacting your insurance company. You are also responsible for making sure your bill is paid.

When will I get a bill from the hospital?
You should receive a statement within 10 days after your visit or discharge. This shows how much your hospital bill is and that your insurance claim has been filed. Later, you will be sent a bill for any amount you may owe after your insurance pays their part.

Why are there charges for medicine I am taking home on my bill?
If you have prescriptions for medicine to be taken once you get home and they are filled by Syringa's Pharmacy, the cost is added to your hospital bill. Medicines to be taken at home are not paid for by your insurance.

I was sent two different bills. Why?
If you are seen at either of the Syringa Primary Care Clinics or the Walk-in Clinic, you will be sent two different bills. The bill for lab work will be sent by Syringa Hospital and/or Pathologists Regional Lab. Any other charges will be sent on a different bill.

Which insurance plans does Syringa Hospital & Clinics accept?
Syringa Hospital & Clinics accepts all major insurance plans - ie: Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Regence), Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP program, Out of State Medicaid, and all commerical insurance plans. We accept contracted rates with commercial insurances that are enrolled with the First Choice Health Plan network. All insurances are accepted and processed per the patient's contract benefits.

FORMS


Can I fill out new patient paperwork before my appointment? If so, where can I find the forms?
Syringa's Hospital & Clinics requires no forms to be filled out when you come for a visit. We adopted the use of an Electronic Health Record system in 2011. At your first visit you will be asked a series of questions which will be recorded on the computer. After that, unless you make a change, your information is securely stored in your electronic record.

Employment information can be found here, or applications are available at the Patient Financial Services window at the Main Street entrance of the hospital.
