Syringa Hospital & Clinics is pleased to welcome Hal Richins, MD, to our Primary Care team. Dr. Richins brings with him a wealth of experience, a strong background in rural medicine, and a deep commitment to caring for patients in small communities.
Originally from Arizona, Dr. Richins took a unique path to medicine. After serving as a survival instructor and officer in the U.S. Air Force, he discovered his true calling in healthcare. He earned his medical degree and completed a rural family medicine residency in Wray, Colorado, where he cared for patients in a critical access hospital similar in size to Syringa.
Dr. Richins provides full-scope family medicineoffering care for patients of all ages and addressing a wide range of health needs. He is passionate about rural healthcare, valuing the opportunity to know his patients personally and provide comprehensive, community-based care.
